The Holmes District School Board recently entered into a partnership with the Holmes County Sheriff's Department to provide additional resource officers for the county's schools. As a result of this agreement, three officers will provide support to the schools. One officer will be assigned to the three Bonifay schools; another officer assigned to the Ponce de Leon schools, and a third officer will divide his time between Bethlehem and Poplar Springs. Superintendent Dixon stated, "As Superintendent, my first responsibility every morning is to ensure a safe and secure environment for students and employees." Pictured L-R are Lt.
